When challenge beast Taras wins the final challenge, he has the monumental power to choose two other housemates to take to the grand finale.

Elections require a lot of deliberation, as the winner will be entirely determined by the public vote.

“It feels weird, I’m in the top three,” Taras told Big Brother as he made his “most difficult decision”, deciding who to send off.

As Taras talks to Big Brother, the other three housemates do a question and answer session, reassuring each other that they are not “making a deal” with Taras.

Reggie told them “I doubt he’ll keep me after…”

Housemates refer to her last minute voice change during Sunday night’s episode when she chose to save Johnson over Aleisha – going against her promise to Taras.

Reggie then says he thought it would be a “refund” and Taras would hold him accountable.

Meanwhile, Johnson is also in disbelief, as Taras has openly campaigned for Johnson’s expulsion, nominating Johnson and Aleisha on Sunday’s episode, in hopes that Johnson will be ‘chosen’.

“There are pros and cons to all of us,” Johnson said.

“Two of us will be happy today, and one of us will be beside ourselves.”

‘Daily battle’

“There are three people out there who have struggled through so much on the outside to get in, and they came here and fought,” he began.

“Reggie he fights every day with his eyes, he fights every day thinking about his children.

“Johnson fights every day to be the best and biggest superfan, fights every day just to love his family.

“Brenton struggled every day to fit in, he came here halfway to adapt, and to make points and defend. Fighting for his wife and unborn baby.”

Taras called the decision “shattering someone’s dream”.

Coming to the eviction, Taras said “the final step feels different to just kicking someone out – you take two people and leave one”.

After all the housemates had made their final wish and Taras had cast his vote, host Sonia Kruger broke the news.

After the news was made, the housemates stood still, “shocked” by the decision.

“I don’t know what to say,” said Reggie.

Meanwhile, Johnson walks over to Taras for a hug, surprised he’s been brought in.

“Thank you very much,” said Johnson.

As Brenton left he cupped Taras’ face in his hands and said “Nice move,” telling Johnson “You deserve this bro”.

Taras remembers crying over to Big Brother when he decided to do what his heart “told him” to do.

“I don’t want to do it, I want to give myself the best chance to win,” he said.

“How did you win against Reggie?”

Taras said Johnson deserved to be there in the end because it was his “dream”.

“He played a good game, and I think he deserves to be there, even if it means I lose,” he said.
