Rooftop solar panels cost Ricky Barone thousands, but never worked. Now he wants them released

Image
Ricky Barone installed a solar system on his roof in 2014 to make the most of North Queensland’s sunshine and save money on his electricity bill. Key points: Ricky Barone has been told the installation is a fire hazard but the retailer will not uninstall it A number of regulatory agencies receive complaints about diesel retailers, manufacturers and installers Some of the main issues raised were related to price, quality and high-pressure sales Since its installation, however, it has cost thousands of dollars and years without sleep. It was only this year that a so-called solar doctor inspected his roof panels did Mackay’s man realize the potential danger he was in. “He [the solar inspector] basically saying it was badly installed and there was a high chance it could catch fire,” Barone said. “I’m very disturbed and I haven’t slept well thinking about it.” Mr Barone said it was a two year wait to get the solar system installed by a local co...

The game's structure is under attack, Lethal said; Round 23 match released; Demon Lever is back

He said Ginnivan had been the victim on Sunday, but it was not the referee’s fault, it was a decision born of a philosophical shift in the AFL. Matthews said his initial thought when he saw the incident was to ask himself, what did they do to the game? “And when I say ‘they’, I mean (AFL chairman) Richard Goyder and the commission which is the only body that actually changes the rules and [AFL CEO) Gillon McLachlan and his coaching cohort of advisers that are making the game easier for the tackler and harder for the bloke with the ball,” Matthews said. “It got my blood boiling. Every other player in the competition would have got that free kick … I felt sick. That was virtually not only a high contact headlock, it was bordering on unduly rough play.” Last Tuesday the AFL responded to the increasing number of players drawing free kicks for head high contact with a statement that outlined the directive to umpires. James Webb Space Telescope: An astronomer describes the first stunning and newly released images

Image
The James Webb Space Telescope Team has released the first scientific-quality images of the new telescope. It contains the oldest galaxies ever seen by the human eye, evidence of the presence of water on a planet 1,000 light years away and incredible detail showing the birth and death of stars. Webb’s goal is to explore the origins – the universe, galaxies, stars and life – and the five images released on July 12, 2022, fulfill that promise. Once the instruments on board were cool and running smoothly, astronomers wasted no time getting Webb to work. Each first image contains sufficient data to produce its own primary scientific result. Webb was designed to collect light across the red to mid-infrared spectrum – the wavelengths of light that are blocked by Earth’s atmosphere. And with giant mirrors and shielding the infrared rays emitted by the Sun, Earth and Moon, Webb can produce images with a sharpness never before achieved by other telescopes. Rumors among profession...
