Jodie Haydon has spoken publicly for the first time about the time she fell in love with Australia’s most powerful man, when she accepted her new role as the country’s unofficial ‘First Lady’. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s partner was constantly by his side throughout the election campaign and accompanied him on his recent overseas trip to Europe, where Haydon left a lasting impression on French President Emmanuel Macron. Haydon has told friends he enjoyed his whirlwind ride – making sure the plane meals on the RAAF jets are ‘good’ – and left his guildmates posters of an Albanese young man to watch over them while he’s gone. “I had to make sure you didn’t miss me too much so I brought a friend over for a chat,” he said, according to a post obtained exclusively by Daily Mail Australia on Friday.
