In one of the largest launch announcements in Australian aviation history, Sunshine Coast Airport was in February named the first Bonza base and headquarters location for the nation’s only independent airline. The arrival of the first plane, which left Seattle on July 29, flew to Honolulu on July 30 and then left Fiji Monday morning, marking an important milestone for the company and supporting the ongoing momentum with the regulatory process.
