Cities where house prices are expected to fall by the tens of thousands by the end of the year

Property prices across the country are expected to fall by another 5 percent before the year ends, a new report estimates. A mid-year report by market analyst PropTrack predicts average property prices nationwide will fall between 2 percent and 5 percent by the end of December. By the end of next year, they are expected to fall even further, potentially by as much as another 10 percent. A union boss has warned the ANZ-Suncorp deal would put thousands of employees out of work and trigger mass closures of dozens of bank branches. ANZ on Monday announced its proposed purchase of smaller rival bank Suncorp for $4.9 billion – marking it as the country’s biggest banking deal in 14 years. The bank’s chief executive, Shayne Elliott, has pledged to retain Suncorp’s Queensland branches and staff for at least three years. However, the Financial Sector Union (FSU) is skeptical and has warned thousands of workers will lose their jobs when the three-year period ends. Desperate Long Covid Patient Paid Thousands for Unproven Blood Screening Treatment: Report

A new investigative report out Tuesday found that long-standing COVID-19 patients are traveling overseas to try expensive and untested treatments for their symptoms, including screening their blood. But at least some experts are concerned about the trend, warning that this treatment lacks solid evidence to support its claimed benefits. The report is a collaboration between The BMJ and ITV News. The authors visited or interviewed patients who went to clinics in Cyprus, Germany and Switzerland hoping to find relief for lingering post-covid symptoms. These symptoms tend to include, but are not limited to, persistent fatigue, breathing problems, and cognitive dysfunction, or brain fog. The main treatment offered by this clinic is called apheresis. The patient’s blood is drawn, which is then “washed” and broken down into its different components of plasma and red blood cells. A health coach has shared her delicious recipe for a homemade version of the famous Double Double Burger In-N-Out. Bec Hardgrave, from Brisbane, was inspired to make a beef burger after eating a delicious meal while on vacation in America and realizing it wasn’t available at home. The ‘healthy’ burger with minced meat, American mustard, smokey cheese and homemade In-N-Out sauce is only 480 calories and high in protein. Scroll down for the video Bec Hardgrave, a wellness coach from Brisbane, has shared her inventive recipe for a homemade version of the famous Double Double Beef Burger In-N-Out. Bec’s recipe calls for a quarter of an onion, 120g of minced beef, five percent fat, American mustard, one slice of smokey cheese, 25g of pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. To make her homemade In-N-Out sauce, Bec uses 30 grams of whole egg mayonnaise, 15 grams of sugar-free tomato sauce, 5 grams of American mustard, and 5 grams of pickles.
