Bec Hardgrave, a wellness coach from Brisbane, has shared her inventive recipe for a homemade version of the famous Double Double Beef Burger In-N-Out.
Bec’s recipe calls for a quarter of an onion, 120g of minced beef, five percent fat, American mustard, one slice of smokey cheese, 25g of pickles, lettuce and tomatoes.
To make her homemade In-N-Out sauce, Bec uses 30 grams of whole egg mayonnaise, 15 grams of sugar-free tomato sauce, 5 grams of American mustard, and 5 grams of pickles.
Bec first adds the shallots to the pan and caramelizes them, and makes small balls of minced meat.
He then flattens the minced beef balls on the skillet and flips them until they are brown before adding a tablespoon of mustard sauce to the patty.

Bec’s recipe calls for a quarter of an onion, 120g of ground beef, five percent fat, American mustard, one slice of smokey cheese, 25g of pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Bec also suggests that those who follow the recipe bake the bread in the same pan as the meat
“A professional tip is to bake your bread in the same pan as your meat,” says Bec.
American cheese was then placed on top of each patty and Bec added caramelized onions over the beef before piling the other patties on top.
Bec simply mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl together and spread a thick layer over the bread.
Pickles, tomatoes and lettuce are seasoned before the beef patties with a little extra sauce on top.
“Only 480 calories and 36 grams of protein,” says Bec.
