Social media stunned by Bradley Cooper's new girlfriend
Heartthrob actor Bradley Cooper is dating again after splitting from supermodel Irina Shayk – but his new belle is nowhere near traditional Hollywood circles.
It A star has been born the actor is dating Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s top aide and ex-wife of disgraced politician and convicted sex offender Anthony Weiner.

The Hollywood star and Shayk, a former Victoria’s Secret model, were a couple for four years and have a daughter together, Lea.
Cooper was later linked with her A star has been born co-star, Lady Gaga, but it seems the two are just good friends with great chemistry on screen.
“Anna (Wintour) is definitely playing matchmaker,” said a source Page Six.
“He’s a BFF with Bradley and adores Huma.”
It is understood that the couple had been secretly dating for a few months but kept the relationship under the radar.
The source said Abedin had told several close friends he had a “new man but he didn’t say who it was”.
“He kept it very close to his chest,” the source said.
“They are perfect for each other.
“They are both involved in power and politics and human affairs.”
Cooper and Abedin reportedly arrived together at the Met Gala in New York on May 2 but later posed separately on the red carpet, without giving any indication that they were a couple.
Abedin filed for divorce from Anthony Weiner in 2017 after the former Democratic congressman was sentenced to nearly two years in prison for having sex with a 15-year-old girl and other offences.
They married in 2010 and have a son.
Social media looked stunned by the pair, with one commenter taking to Twitter: “From Anthony Weiner to Bradley Cooper??? What???”
“Um, it’s like being homeless and winning a billion dollars,” wrote another.
“Yeah. It’s hard to overestimate this, isn’t it?” another added.
“Bradley is a big step up from Anthony Weiner, to say the least,” the Page Six source said.
Talk to Piece after Weiner’s imprisonment, Abedin said that her ex-husband had “humiliated her”.
“I was heartbroken, dragged, stepped on, humiliated,” he said.
“I lived in shame, I lived in shame, for so long.
“Come to think of it, I went through extreme trauma.”
Abedin later talked about his best friend Anna Wintour after the Weiner sexting scandal, revealing that they went to the movies together.
“Just being outside and with him, I feel normal and loved.”
Weiner served 15 months in prison and now lives in the same Manhattan building as Abedin.
News that Cooper and Abedin are dating has spread across the internet, with many fans commenting on Twitter.
“Holy f*** Huma, talk about going up!” An enthusiastic Twitter user added the hashtag #byeweinerbye.
“I. HAVE DONE. DON’T. KNOW. THAT!” one person exclaimed.
“Glad he went from sausage to winner,” wrote another.
