Noi, 33, cheerfully broke the news on Instagram this Saturday by posting a photo of herself grinning in a bikini and writing: ‘Divorce feels great.’

Hours later Steve, 38, sadly revealed on Instagram that he ‘did not expect this announcement to happen today’ even though they broke up ‘a little while ago’.

He described them as ‘not compatible’ and their relationship as ‘unsustainable,’ but added that he will ‘always love’ Noi and hopes to ‘keep in touch’ with her.

Meanwhile, after posting the bikini snap to her main Instagram page, Noi took the event to her Insta Stories to show off her thrilling beach day.

“Take back your narration (even when your voice shakes),” she wrote above a clip of herself in a bikini in shallow water.

Interestingly, he set the clip to the Kanye West song Hurricane featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby, which includes the line: ‘I’m finally free.’

Later that night she posted a clip of herself beaming as she walked down the aisle and wrote: ‘Back lost again lol.’

Steve and Noi’s season ran from January to May this year, and they stayed together through Decision Day despite the friction in their romance.

Noi’s recklessness on social media led to an argument in which Steve demanded: ‘Why is it so important to broadcast our plight to the world?’

In a lengthy Instagram message he posted this Saturday two hours after Noi’s casual divorce announcement, Steve explained their marital problems.

‘When I said yes on decision day, I knew that our relationship was far from perfect, but I have faith that with enough time, effort and understanding, we can overcome the challenges we face, and build a healthy and functioning relationship,’ wrote the reality show star in his post.

He wrote: ‘I believe that our relationship is not sustainable in its current form, and after much effort, I don’t believe we can get to the point where it is functioning at a reasonably healthy level, while both of our needs are being met.’

Steve explained: ‘We’ve been apart for a while now, to the point of moving on, with hope pretty much fading for any chance we can recover.’

He added: ‘Although I’ve made my decision, I’m still holding out for the potential for true change, but there are signs that it’s not going to happen. This shocking announcement is a signal that it is time to let him go.’

In the emotional section of her post, she wrote: ‘No I will always love you. I really wish we were more compatible. I hope we can meet each other’s needs without feeling like we have to compromise ourselves to a point beyond what we think is acceptable.’

The imminent divorce added: ‘I wish our willingness to be flexible with each other matched the lucky chemistry we had.’

Reflective: Steve notes: ‘When all is well, and we are free of conflict, we naturally fit in together, and it feels so easy to spend time together if we put our problems aside’

He expressed his wish that they could ‘remain friendly, and at some point we can stay in touch, because I enjoy having you in my life when things are going well. Hopefully when all is said and done, this is still possible.’

Steve noted: ‘When things are going well, and we’re free of conflict, we naturally fit in together, and it feels so easy to spend time together if we put our issues aside. Deep down, I knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. There are too many things that I unfortunately cannot ignore, and proceed with this relationship with confidence.’

He concluded: ‘I have given so much of myself to this marriage, the process and the experience as a whole. I don’t regret anything I’ve given you, but it’s time we start doing what’s best for ourselves.’
