Harry Styles to Brad Pitt: Male stars throw gender fashion rules out the window
This week, Hollywood sweetheart Brad Pitt showed it’s not just Millennials who can get away with gender-challenging fashion roles when he wore a skirt to the premiere of his latest film in Berlin. Bullet Train.
When asked on the red carpet why she chose to wear a skirt, the 58-year-old simply replied: “A breeze. A breeze.”
Brad has previously hinted at wanting men to feel more comfortable in skirts Mode in 2004: “Men will wear skirts next summer. That’s my prediction and statement.”
Brad is promoting his film Troy at that time and wearing the clothes of those times had clearly set off something in him.
“This film answers both genders. We went for realism and the Greeks wore skirts all the time,” she said.

Former boy band member, singer, actor and model Harry Styles doesn’t have time to be what people want him to be because he’s too busy being himself.
“As a kid, I really loved fancy dresses,” she told Vogue.

“I’ve never referred to myself as a sexual fluid,” Nico . said Vulture magazine. “I prefer emotional fluids to sexual fluids.
“I am the Future Man.”
And maybe they are!
Vin Diesel
He played tough guy Dominic in fast and roaring franchise but that doesn’t mean Vin is afraid of the wind.
The action hero wore a leather skirt at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2003.
It’s possible she’s paying homage to Scotland’s national dress considering the event was held in Edinburgh, but the leather finish on her skirt definitely blurred some of the lines.
Jaden Smith
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s eldest child, Jaden, has been given more freedom than many children his age.
And fashion is one area where Jaden chooses to express himself.
Even at just 18 years old, Jaden is the first male model to model women’s clothing for French label Louis Vuitton.
“If I wanted to wear a dress, then I would, and it would be a new wave.” he tweeted in 2018.
Pete Davidson
Actor and Live Saturday Night alumni Pete Davidson may be dating the Kardashians but he’s not afraid to push stereotypes about what he wears.
“I love how easy it is to pee. You can actually lift it,” she said GQ magazine about wearing a tunic to the 2021 Met Gala.
“If you’re going to wear a dress, what better way or place to do it than the Met, you know?” she added, “I’m so excited and really excited that they think I can do this, which is funny.”
Jared Leto
He’s dated some of the hottest actresses in Hollywood including Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Lupita Nyong’o, Katy Perry and even our own Isabel Lucas, but actor Jared Leto has never been afraid to wear a skirt.

Eddie Izzard
British actor and comedian Eddie Izzard, best known for his role as Roman in Twelve Seas and Thirteen Seas and Peter Solomon at Dan Brown’s Missing Symbol TV series but in his personal life, Eddie is comfortable with who he is.
“I wear whatever I want whenever I want. I don’t call it drag; I don’t even call it cross-dressing. It’s just wearing a dress,” Eddie told Interview magazine of 2014.
Eddie has since come out as gender fluid and says he prefers to be known by female pronouns.
Billy Porter
Pose actor Billy Porter has enjoyed playing with fashion stereotypes for years.
“I used to be frustrated because women could wear whatever they wanted and men had to show up in the same penguin suit,” she said.
“My goal is to become a work of political art walking every time I show up. To challenge expectations. What is masculinity? What does it mean? Women show up every day in pants, but once a man puts on a dress, a sea of parts,” she said. Mode in 2019.
