Gigi Hadid looked every inch a cool mom as she flaunted her slender abs in a striped shirt and Bermuda denim shorts while out for a walk with her daughter Khai.

While soaking in the fresh air of New York CityThe 26-year-old supermodel wore her platinum hair in a sleek low bun and a pair of black over her blue eyes.

She completed her casual ensemble with a beige slide, ankle-length white socks, and a subtle gold necklace.

The mother-of-one pushed her baby daughter, who will turn two in September, through their neighborhood in a black stroller.

Khai’s golden blonde hair was styled in an updo and she remained comfortable under the colorful blankets.

Last month, a source told Us Weekly that the Vogue cover girl and former One Direction singer, 29, reportedly had a ‘love and caring relationship despite the breakup.’

A source told the publication that the former couple ‘didn’t hate each other’ and were ‘doing the best they could’ to make the co-parenting of their sweet child a success.

The insider revealed that the exes – who call it quits in October 2021 – are trying to ensure that Khai gets enough time with his parents.

“They don’t live together, but Zayn often visits Gigi and Khai on the farm in Pennsylvania when they’re there. They like to spend time away from the city because it’s safer, quieter and more exclusive.’

The source added that although ‘co-parenting comes with certain challenges and ups and downs,’ they wanted to ensure that their daughter was still a ‘very big part’ of Zayn’s life.

However, she often chooses to leave her little one’s home to ‘protect her daughter from the public and the paparazzi, which is why she rarely posts [on social media] about him.’

The star made a rare Instagram post about her daughter on Father’s Day, as she gave Zayn a sweet shout out.

Referring to that, Gigi wrote, ‘& to Khai’s baba’ followed by a smiling face in the photo of Khai and Zayn.

Despite Gigi’s kind words to Zayn, the two faced some trouble late last year when he pleaded no contest for four counts of abuse in October 2021, after allegedly pushing Gigi’s mother, Yolanda, 58, to the dressing table and calling her ‘f** * **g Dutch shit.’

A source told Us Weekly at the time that Zayn and Gigi had decided to separate after the legal drama.

Despite their troubles, sources later told the publication that they were trying to keep things friendly. Malik and Hadid started an on-and-off relationship in 2015.
