‘I remember the photographer asked me if Levi could stand/sit and I said no and as we continued taking photos I thought, ‘this is not right’.

‘When I try to get him into a standing position he won’t put any weight through his legs at all, he’s very floppy in all positions, has very poor head control and for the most part (if not all of the time) stays on. his hands were tightly clenched.’

She continued: ‘I still cherish all the photos of me with my boys but I have to say there was a bit of sadness and disappointment when I saw some because I didn’t understand how things had gone under the radar for so long.

Jordan continued: ‘If you have the slightest doubt about your child’s development, whether it’s just an incessant thought or hunch like we do, I urge you to raise your concern with a professional and stick around if your concern persists.

‘If there happens to be a problem then you are a parent who knows and puts the baby first because you love them and want them to be okay.

‘If there are no issues then you are an insecure parent putting the baby first because you love them and want them to be okay. There’s nothing wrong with asking questions and seeking professional support.”

Jordan, who has not disclosed what illness his son has, previously revealed that it was impossible for Levi to learn to speak.

“It’s really hard from a practical point of view but also really hard being her mom and not being able to hear her voice or know what she needs,” she told The Herald Sun in an emotional interview.

“When he gets angry, I have to guess what the problem is,” Jordan, who has been married to AFL legend Gary since 2016, continued.

‘It’s also difficult because I want to just hear his thoughts, talk to my son and for us to know that he understands how much we love him.’

Gary, 38, and his wife of eight years welcomed their second child, daughter Grace, late last year.

“I just remember sitting with Gaz in that meeting and when they said it, I just remember being absolutely desperate,” he said.

“There’s a very short life expectancy, which is why I keep telling people when they ask about Levi that we really just take it day by day because we don’t know what the future holds.”

She said the new pediatrician was ‘getting the ball’, and after months of worrying, the couple finally had some answers.

Jordan said he and Gary first became concerned after seeing Levi not reach the same milestones as other kids his age.

‘We don’t want to lie and be like, ‘Yeah, he’s running around,’ because he’s not running around.”

“Levi’s speech pathologist set up this smart device that allows Levi to play independently using only his eyes,” he wrote in the caption to the video on Instagram.
