Big accusation goes live as Prince Harry's 'angry' towards Camilla is revealed

Prince Harry’s “entertainment” over comments made by his stepmother Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, turned to “outrage” once his wife Meghan Markle found out, the shocking new book claims.

Tom Bower, author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, suggested Harry and Meghan may have left the royal family in favor of Camilla.

In an excerpt from the book, Bower alleges what happened between Harry and Camilla moments after his relationship with Meghan became public.

“During those weeks, Harry met Charles and Camilla at Clarence House. In Harry’s version, the conversation alternates between serious and joking and touches on three topics,” Bower wrote in the book.

“First, Harry was told that Meghan should continue her acting career.

“Secondly, Scotland Yard cannot be automatically expected to pay for his girlfriend’s 24-hour protection.

“And third, according to Harry, someone was speculating about ‘what his future child would look like’. In one version, Camilla comments, ‘Wouldn’t it be cute if your child had ginger Afro hair?’”

Bower claims that while Harry allegedly “laughed” at the comment, “furthermore, Meghan’s reaction to the conversation turned Harry’s amusement into anger”.

Sources close to Camilla have dismissed the claims as “bullshit”, the Mirror reports.

But Bower had predicted that the alleged split between Harry and Camilla would be explored further in Harry’s upcoming memoir.

And he’s not the only one to blame a rift between the Duke of Sussex and his father, Charles’ wife.

Royal expert and writer Ingrid Seward also claims Camilla doesn’t get along with her stepson.

Speaking on the Daily Mirror Pod Save the Queen podcast, the royal biographer said: “I don’t think Harry has much warmth for him. She increases and decreases with him.

“I think William really appreciates Camilla and what she did for her dad and she knows her very well and I think he loves her very, very much.

“I don’t think (Harry) really respects him. I don’t think Harry is interested in developing a relationship with his stepmother at this stage of his life.”

Prince Harry’s speech at the United Nations

The new revelations come after critics highlighted Harry’s keynote address at the UN General Assembly.

The 37-year-old was chosen to appear in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s annual International Day – in honor of the legacy of South Africa’s anti-apartheid leader who spent 27 years in prison and became the country’s first black leader.

However, some were not impressed by the royal look, with Russell Myers, Royal Editor for the UK’s Daily Mirror, telling Sunrise hosts Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch: “Many people around the world are scratching their heads”.

“Poor old Harry, look at the crowds gathered and there aren’t too many in the room – so you can make as much as you like,” said Myers.

“I’m sure many people around the world will hear his speech, maybe even listen to it.

“He tackles some very big issues, climate change, weapons of lies and disinformation on the internet.

“He even waded through – which is brave enough for a British prince, to speak on constitutional issues in the US – the massive Roe versus Wade scandal that is currently underway in the US.

“Look, a lot of people are wondering why Harry is talking about it. As usual with him, he will share opinions. I think this is one example.”

Natalie Barr explained that traditionally, members of the royal family were not allowed to talk about political matters.

“But is he a member of the royal family again? Is it important?” he asked.

“Well, I think so,” Myers replied.

“We shouldn’t let a British prince get into political troubles like this. So this is a very big big problem in the United States and it’s definitely going to ruffle the feathers.

“You talk about why Harry is there, why is Meghan Markle there?

“He seemed to be only there to hold her hand throughout the ceremony – and he didn’t look too happy about it when it was taken on camera.

“I’m sure Harry has a lot to say but maybe we should all ask someone who talks about climate change and still rides big fuel-guzzling motorbikes and flies private jets.

“It doesn’t fit the majority of people I don’t think it does.”
