The perjury charges relate to litigation stemming from Heard’s visit to Australia with Johnny Depp in 2015, when Heard violated strict quarantine laws by failing to declare the couple’s two dogs, Pistol and Boo, as Law & Crime Network report.

The story made international headlines after Heard was charged with illegally importing dogs into the country.

He was fined after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of falsifying travel documents and then, along with Depp, forced to shoot an awkward apology video.

However, at the 2020 Depp defamation trial against Sun in England, his former plantation manager Kevin Murphy said he had repeatedly informed Heard that the dogs would not be allowed into Australia because proper paperwork had not been completed.

He also testified that Heard wanted him to hold his former assistant, Kate James, to blame for not arranging the necessary paperwork.

“Now it looks like Miss Heard is suspected of not telling the truth and that’s perjury,” said Joyce Sunrise.

He then referred to a recent British order for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to be extradited to the US to face charges over the publication of classified documents.

“If they wanted Julian Assange we would have brought Amber and maybe Johnny and they could come to Australia and spend some time in His Majesty’s comfort,” Joyce said.

The politician also appeared to be responding to suggestions that the chances of Heard being extradited to Australia to face charges were slim.

“It really bothered me … when they said they wouldn’t extradite them if they swore perjury,” Joyce said.

“Well, they put our biosecurity at stake. When they say things like, ‘Ah we would never do that for this’, what do you do it for? They broke the law.”

Nat Barr asked Joyce: “What could happen here?”

“Yes, it’s up to America. I think the US wants to show its purity,” said Joyce.

“They insisted on getting Julian Assange so it’s fair enough that everyone who perjures, committed a crime in Australia, should go back to Australia to serve their time because we have to be fair and honest with both of these things. not us?

“Let’s see how it goes.”

Joyce admits she has been gripped by recent coverage of Heard and Depp’s libel trial in Virginia.

“It was weird, but we looked at them and they made millions of dollars, but let’s see what happens,” he said.

“They should have a sequel. Maybe if we bring it back to court, we can make a sequel.”

water man actress Heard certainly hasn’t forgotten the drama involving Pistol and Boo – and she certainly hasn’t forgotten the Australian government’s threat to euthanize her pet.

Late last year – six years after the incident – he announced on social media that he had a new dog named Barnaby.
