Astrodelphis comes with DLC Genesis: Part 2 to ARK: Survival Evolved and can only be found in Void. Wild, i.e. in the wild, Astrodelphis is relatively harmless, but can deal some damage, mainly through ranged attacks, with the help of his saddle.

Appearance: Astrodelphis is a space dolphin slightly fused with orcas. He has the characteristics of a dolphin that we know. In addition, Astrodelphis has several flippers that make it look majestic when flying or swimming, and a total of two pairs of eyes.

Wild: Similar to Ichtyosaurus, Astrodelphis was very curious and would swim towards you to check on you. However, he will attack you with full force if you attack or provoke him.

Domesticated: You can use Astrodelphis in space and underwater as a mount. If you have a saddle, he is faster and has a turret. With the grenades in his inventory, you can throw them. Therefore, it is also suitable as a fighting animal in terms of ranged attacks.

After you kill an enemy, a purple bubble will form, which will grant you a buff as you swim through it, with increased attack power, speed, and defense. If you defeat the second opponent and swim through the purple bubbles again, the buff is extended.

How to tame Astrodelphis in ARK

Astrodelphis is passively tamed by feeding him Elements. To do this, place the item in your inventory slot on the far right and wait for a curious space dolphin to come towards you, similar to an ichtyosaur. As soon as the “Feed element to tame” command fires, you can run it.

You may have to repeat this procedure more often, depending on the level of copy you want. It could be that Astrodelphis swam away and only came back later. For this reason, you must have a mount that can chase you.

Basically, you have to be careful that neither you nor Astrodelphis get attacked by predators while taming.

How to make Astrodelphis Saddle

To make the Astrodelphis Saddle, you must reach level 120 and 60 Engram Points to unlock the recipe. You will now need the following resources to create:

• 2500 metal bars
• 500 polymer
• 370 crystals
• 140 Black Pearls
• 55 items

You can get saddles faster through quests with Astrodelphis or through supply chests.

How to feed Astrodelphis in ARK

Once you’ve tamed your Astrodelphis, it’s important to know what it likes. Astrodelphis are carnivores, which of course makes food choices easier.

• red mutton:
  • Received with a gulp of Ovis.
  • Cooking turns it into cooked lamb
• raw fillets:
  • Obtained when exterminating a larger being
  • Cooking turns it into a grilled fillet
• Raw fish fillet:
  • Obtained from Alpha Mosasaurs, Dunkleosteus, Electrophorus, Leedsichtys, Megalodon, and Sabertooth Salmon
  • Cooking turns it into cooked fish fillet
• Raw meat:
  • Obtained by exterminating carnivores
  • Cooking turns it into grilled meat
• Raw fish:
  • Received from fish intestine
  • Cooking turns it into cooked fish

How to breed Astrodelphis in ARK

This is how you prepare for breeding: If you have both male and female specimens, you build a fairly large enclosure. Put both dinosaurs in the pen and set them to “wander” via the command menu. Alternatively, you can also switch directly to “Pair”, but then there must always be a player nearby, otherwise the pairing will stop due to rendering.

Astrodelphis breeding interval is 18 to 48 hours.

After successful mating, if you play on the default settings, the female Astrodelphis will be pregnant for about 8 hours. After these 8 hours, you can welcome little baby Astrodelphis into the world. As a baby, it takes another 5.5 hours of your attention, during which you must continue to put food in his inventory. Watch for embossing intervals every 8 hours to tickle the baby’s greatest potential.

After attaining juvenile status, it can feed itself. The entire ripening time takes about 2 days and 6.5 hours.
