Kate Middleton receives tragic news about her close friend

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, mourns the death of a friend and confidant who helped her prepare for the birth of Prince George.

Kate and her husband, Prince William, visited Christine Hill – an antenatal expert – ahead of the birth of their first son in July 2013, Hello reported.

They reportedly seek expert advice and medical knowledge.

However, Hill has died at the age of 74, with a family spokesperson confirming to Daily mail: “He will be greatly missed”.

Hill had previously shared his fondness with the Duchess, told England Telegraph that she is a “nice girl”.

“What you see is what you get,” he said.

The tragedy has brought Kate’s struggles with extreme morning sickness back into the spotlight – as the Duchess famously suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum during all three of her pregnancies.

Speak at Happy mom, happy baby podcast in 2020, the Duchess said the illness, which causes severe vomiting, meant she was “not the happiest of pregnant people”.

However, she said after trying everything to get over it, she realized the importance of “mind over body”.

“I wouldn’t say William was standing there like he was shouting unsweet things at me,” he joked.

“He definitely doesn’t. I didn’t even ask him about it, but it was just something I wanted to do for myself.

“I really saw the power, meditation and deep breathing and stuff like that, that teaches you in hypnobirthing, when I was really sick, and actually I realized that this is something I can control, I think, during labor. .

“It’s very strong.”

The now 40-year-old – who is also the mother of Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four – has also opened up about the reality of “mother’s fault”, admitting he suffers “all the time”.

“It’s a constant challenge, you hear it over and over again from moms,” she said.

“You’re always questioning your own decisions and judgments.”

She also stressed the importance of having a support network around children.

“The more positive and safe people around your kids, the better,” she says.

“We are more like animals than we thought.

“We need people around us — the more people around us, around your children, who are safe and caring, the better.”

Reflecting on her happy childhood, Kate points out that the simple things resonate the most, and that’s what she tries to focus on with her own children.

“Life now is very busy, very distracting – and sometimes simple things like watching a fire on a rainy day provide such pleasure,” she said.

“The power of family, a simple act of kindness – [they] really makes the biggest difference to everyone,” he said.
