Dockers have a quiet night ahead
The Fremantle forward is struggling to get into tonight’s contest with a team scoring just five goals in almost three quarters of the game.
They missed leading goal-kick Rory Lobb but their usually strong attacking line has had few chances so far.

Fyfe off, Colyer on when Sonsie hits first
The Dockers wasted no time pulling Nat Fyfe out of the game after a hamstring injury.
Colyer will give Dockers a lot of pressure and runs so he can be a great addition.
But Richmond had extended his lead after a superb goal from first-year Tyler Sonsie netted his first goal in the AFL.
Tigers 45, Dockers 37 with 12 minutes remaining in Q3.
Fyfe off the field
Nat Fyfe appeared to have picked up another hamstring injury as he made a cautious run to the bench.
Fyfe underwent treatment in the second quarter of his hamstring and was able to continue playing but he limped off and came into the dressing room early in the third half.

From the bottom: Tigers deserve a hint
By Peter Ryan
A tight contest with Richmond deserves a slight lead.
The Tigers tackle was fierce but they struggled to turn their 50s into scores.
Richmond had tried Toby Nankervis and Ivan Soldo as deep forwards in the absence of Tom Lynch but their lack of attacking skill was evident.
The Dockers are kept in it by late class veterans Michael Walters and Nat Fyfe.
This is a high quality game but neither side gains power.

HT: Richmond 5.8 (38) to Fremantle 5.5 (35)
Richmond still had a slight lead but the Dockers fought back into a physical contest late in the quarter.
The Dockers were stunned in the second half of the first term with Richmond’s tackles and pressure but they were much stronger in the contest and began to control possession late in the second period.
Andrew Brayshaw had a game-high 18 possession while Hayden Young and Will Brodie had plenty of footy while Liam Barker with 14 touches and Trent Cotchin 13 touches led the Tigers.
Everything was ready for a sharp second half.

Walters with a classic goal
Michael Walters loves to score big goals for the Dockers and the veteran striker does just that with a classy low finish from the front pocket.
Walters had a very sharp corner to work with but he broke the ball perfectly and bounced into the net.
Tigers 38, Dockers 35 with two minutes remaining Q2.
McIntosh goal
Kamdyn McIntosh had come up with a big game for the Tigers to force hold the ball close to the 50m line and then hit the net to extend the lead.
Richmond has shown up tonight and the Dockers are still finding their feet.
Tigers 37, Dockers 28 with nine minutes remaining in Q2.
Fyfe’s goal for Freo
Nat Fyfe continued to emerge as a dangerous striker who came with the lead up front and then fired in his shot to cut the lead to a point.
Fyfe did some great things tonight both as a center bounce and playing as a deep forward.
There were doubts about his goal kick, but he sent it right in the middle.

Balta scored a goal
It’s a big night for a Richmond player named Noah!
Noah Balta has been in big form for the Tigers as he adjusts to moving up the line with sometimes defenders holding the ball at the edge of the pack and completely breaking it.

QT: Richmond 3.5 (23) to Fremantle 3.3 (21)
The Dockers started strong but Richmond’s tough tackles and pressure paid off as they took a narrow lead into the first change.
The Tigers look like they are back in the tackles and pressures that have driven so much of their success and while the Dockers are good when they can run and spread, they have been caught too many times but Tiger’s tackles are fierce and have paid the price.
This is an amazing contest.
